Living in times where everything is so stressful and hectic, we can tend to forget to do things that bring us joy.
Sometimes we think, I’ll do something for myself later, but later never happens. I am guilty of this too.
Having joy in our life is crucial for our mental health and well-being. Without it, we are leaving room for a constant cycle of depression and anxiety. Our brains need that boost of serotonin.
Think about some things that bring you joy. Could it be a hobby? Spending time with friends or family? Crafts? Hiking? Whatever it is for you, strive to bring that more into your life. Make it a top priority every week!
Your joy matters. With joy there is peace and with peace there is healing.
