Not Settling Just Resting

Facing challenges and obstacles in life comes with discouragement. At moments you can have the urge to give up and quit trying.

It can also be the exact same way with our mental health.

We can set our goals and put forth all the effort to heal and become better. But we question whether if this is all worth it or if we will ever get to where we aim to be.

We will work so hard on ourselves and our healing. We feel the change and might even feel as if we got through a very difficult obstacle. Then we see all of these other obstacles standing in our way. You may have thoughts like, ‘’If I could just do this now!” or “If this didn’t happen my life could be like this.” or even, “If this one thing changed then I could do this!”

It gets so loud and overwhelming in our heads we can tend to just give up and settle with where we are at. We quit looking towards those new goals because we feel as if it is out of reach.

When this happens, you need to give yourself a much-needed pep talk.

Not Settling

Just Resting.

Allow resting for your body and mind. DO NOT accept settling. We will not settle for our mental health being in a fragile and unhealthy state.

Remember these things take time. Nothing can be done instantly. You are worth the wait, the time and the patience. Remember, Not Settling, Just Resting.

As Always,

You Deserve Peace

You Are Not Your Diagnosis

You Are Not Alone
