It’s Time to Let Go

Have you ever had someone in your life that you have held onto so tightly even when they have abused you, hurt you, belittled you and just straight up been awful to you?

Do you currently have someone like that in your life?

I did too and it took me awhile to learn that it was Time to Let Go.

I was holding onto this relationship that I thought would somehow workout in some way shape or form. That maybe this person would change.

They abused me physically, emotionally, and mentally. But I kept holding on because I thought I had to because they were family, and maybe by holding onto them I was doing, “The right thing.”

But I wasn’t holding onto them, I had already lost them. I was holding onto the thought of them. The thought of what a brother and sister relationship could be.

What it should be.

What I wanted and needed it to be.

I was hurting myself by holding onto nothing.

I had already lost the relationship years and years ago.

If you’re struggling with something like this, I encourage you, It’s Time To Let Go!

Make the decision that will help improve your overall health. Block them, remove them from your life in every way possible. Say what you need to say to them and then move on so you can begin to heal.

Take back your life and find your peace.

As Always,

You Deserve Peace

You Are Not Your Diagnosis

You Are Not Alone
