Finding Comfort In The Uncomfortable

There’s an uncomfortable and stressful feeling we face when we step into something outside of our comfort zone. Whether that’s going to an event, taking on a new role at work or simply a change in season.

Right now I am facing extreme uncomfortableness with summer. I always have and it really doesn’t get any easier with time.

My focus is solely on finding comfort in this uncomfortable season. Literally…

Instead of focusing on why I hate summer so much and why it’s so triggering for me, I am focusing on what can I do to help myself get through this difficult time. How can I find comfort in this uncomfortable time of year?

I can focus on doing the hobbies that I enjoy, talking to the people I love and doing the activities that I do enjoy at summertime. And remind myself that I will get through it, just like I do every year!

Whatever uncomfortableness you are facing right now, try to look for comfort in it. I know it seems difficult to do when you feel like you’re drowning but there is hope! There is always something that you can cling to for comfort in uncomfortable times.

As Always,

You Deserve Peace

You Are Not Your Diagnosis

You Are Not Alone
